Our private training session are the best way to identify the route of the problem and begin to create a plan to get you to your end goals. We will use food and play and other techniques to build a system of communication with your dog that will create a far deeper level of understanding between the dog and their handler. You and your dog are a team and we will show you how to work like a team!

Before focusing on obedience or even addressing behavioural problems it is important to make sure we are fulfilling the biological needs that they have as dogs. This in itself can often solve behavioural issues and a lack of this fulfilment often creates the problem to begin with. Let us should you how to identify the individual needs your dog has based on breed, genetics and personality and also give you the best ways to fulfill these in a way that is conducive to your family’s lifestyle.

Play Based Training

The most powerful tool in dog training is the power of structured play. When done properly we can use play to dramatically change your relationship with your dog as well as change the way the dog sees the world around them. We do this by first finding the type of play that your dog finds most rewarding and then building the structure of the game with objectives and boundaries.

We will teach you how to play properly and purposefully in a way that taps into their natural instincts and makes your dog addicted to the game. Then we will use this to solve problems without either of you realizing that you are training because you are having so much fun together.
